L'Oasis I is a jacquard wall tapestry that is inspired from the famous Tentures des Indes, a set of 8 tapestries woven at the Gobelins Factory during the 17th century. The original artwork was designed by Albert Echhout and depicts the exotic flora, fauna and natives of the Dutch colonies. These tapestries achieved great success in the 18th century. This tapestry is a brand new antique replica and is woven in France!
