Wawel Timberland Leaves is a Belgian impressionist tapestry pillow cover piece inspired by the series; The Jagiellonian Tapestries or the Wawel Arrasses, circa 1555. The Wawel Arrasses originally consisted of 365 pieces assembled by the Jagiellons to decorate the interiors of the royal residence Wawel Castle. Wawel Timberland Leaves depicts an image of ornate leaves of ivy surrounded in lush verdure imagery. Wawel Timberland Leaves is jacquard woven, the backed lining is of a plush velvet with an invisible zipper closure that allows easy placement and removal of pillow inserts.
