This tapestry was made by skilled Chinese artisans who were taught by French technicians to replicate exactly the same weaving methods as the French used centuries ago. These tapestries are hand-crafted of wool, or wool and silk, and tend to have a wide range of colors. In addition, they have subtle variations of specific colors, giving the design great detail.
